The Rim of the World Special Athletes Foundation’s primary objectives and purposes are to provide a recreational experience that is safe and positive for adaptive individuals. We provide all-year sports activities for adaptive athletes.

Disabilities that are served include: blind, deaf, amputees, spinal cord injuries, TBI’s, PTSD, emotional, physical, and cognitive disorders. The Rim of the World Special Athletes Foundation serves veterans and individuals from our mountain communities and beyond.

At Snow Valley Mountain Resort during the winter, we provide skiing lessons and snow-based experiences.

During the Spring, Summer and Fall seasons activities include kayaking, biking, hiking and outings. Our objective is to have the adaptive athletes learn a new skill, and most importantly develop self-confidence from the experience.
